Sheraton Tarrytown Hotel

Cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. Excellent service across the board. Bar staff was friendly and hard working. Food and drinks were phenomenal. Hotel staff was happy to accommodate and make good when unforeseen circumstances occurred. Best customer service around.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. After pricing the hotels in the area the Sheraton came in 100 cheaper overall, so although mixed reviews, we decided to save money since we were utilizing the hotel mainly to sleep. First check in was fast, efficient, and friendly. The room was super cool on a very hot day and the room was clean. The room itself needs a refresh of carpet and updated furnishings but again very clean. The beds and pillows were super comfortable and since sleep was the most important thing for us, it did the job. Starbucks in the lobby was a bonus and stop and shop right across the parking lot was nice too for snacks and water. It is not far to Tarrytown center, the bridge walking entrance and the Taconic Parkway which we needed to utilize to get to a golf course. One touch I thought was nice was a note was slipped under our door stating that we had do not disturb on the door so they could not repunish our towels and make up the room. We didn't need them to since it was a short stay but the note was nice. Any staff working were extremely friendly and I would book again if I am ever in the area.

The location is great, near several highways, the rooms are good, but the standout is the whirlpool tub that is so helpful after a long day. Strange bathroom doors are on an angle. Also, the beds are so high, you can barely see someone sitting in a chair on the far side of the room.

We were attending an event in the area and decided on this hotel from their web site. The pool and specifically the hot tub had mold and were not clean. The hot tub was not hot and there was green mold on the interior walls. The bed in our room was uneven and too soft. There was cold air blowing out of the vents when trying to raise the heat. The bar did not open on time.
